WOW! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! This guy said at a press conference on Monday, and I quote: "Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century"

Now let me just slightly re-work this statement and put it in perspective, THE UNITED STATES(led by its insane president)has invaded a sovereign state(insert Iraq) Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.
So it wasn't the 21st century when they decided to invade Iraq? Was iraq not a sovereign state? Come On!

Now, for all the might and power that America is supposed to have, the actions of this administration have rendered us powerless to act or even in this instant speak on what's going on over in Georgia. How dare he even talk? This conflict didn't gain large scale media attention up until now and I am sure this didnt just jump-off overnight, so we didn't have the media run-up, the war drum beating, the "evidence" presentation(yellow cake, uranium satellite photos etc) [sidebar, shame shame shame on you Mr. Colin Powell] the international communities outrage and opposition, but whats wrong with this picture is that America has lost its footing when it comes to taking a moral stand. We have one terrific guy to thank for that. Now, didn't anyone else feel back before the bombs began dropping over Baghdad, before the guy said "youre either with us or against us" before the american public and the politicians we have put in place to represent our interests lost their motherfucking minds and allowed the invasion destruction and occupation of Iraq, that somebody, anybody else could do the same exact thing? Of course not! Nobody else could be so bold! Not in a million years! Well folks there you have it. The phrase "dangerous precedent" is apropos here, but it just barely skims the surface of just how dangerous that precedent was. Dangerous President is also in this case very applicable. All week long, several times a day, (many more if you have habits like coffee, cigarettes, candy, etc) many of us ride in elevators. And boy is that weird! where should i stand? left or right? should i go to the back even though i know im probably gonna be the first one to get out? what's that smell? did i remember to press my floor? oh hey tim, didnt see you there, catch that game? would somebody please press the door close button i hear footsteps in the lobby...and on and on and on! elevator rides are interesting to say the least. BUT i'm not here about that, am I? Now then. Will somebody please tell me what the "rules" are on exiting the elevator? This is the most frustrating part of the whole ride. The car reaches the ground floor and everybody out right? easy right? not so fast buddy! I try to observe what the norms are, but clearly there are none. For example. I have seen the last person to get on the elevator, who is nearest the doors be the last one out! As if some unspoken code of ethics was keeping him politely in place. Not only did this guy remain in the car, he "held" (unnecessarily, I might add, as just about every elevator has motion sensors to keep the doors open automatically as people move across the doorway of the elevator) the doors open until everyone got out! Ladies first? Sometimes. Elders first? Sometimes. MOst important/affluent looking person first? Sometimes. Some people don't give a damn! They seem to have a sense of entitlement when riding. These people don't consider who else is in the damned thing, they just get out without hesitation. Sometimes at others peril. Maybe they're claustrophobic! I dunno. Just something I always notice. Observe some elevator behavior and come back... Let's talk about it!

Now, I don't know what to say. But I feel that I have to say something. Angry? Yes! In Shock? Yes! Surprised? Not so much. We can't seem to get a fair deal here. Al Sharpton said something on the radio yesterday, and I'm paraphrasing here, "that if a black man, who is faced with real danger, real violence brought to his home, to his lawn cannot defend his home(referring to the John White case where a group of white teens chased Mr. White's son to his house threatening to kill him, John White confronted and eventually shot and killed one of the teens, Daniel Cicciaro and was sentenced to 2 to four years in prison) BUT a police officer can respond to an imaginary, perceived danger with 31 shots, emptying a clip, reloading and emptying again, that there is definitely something wrong with the way that justice is dealt in this state."
What happened here? A complete acquittal? At the very least, the rootinest tootinest shootinest cop should have been held accountable for first and foremost, NOT following police procedure, which is to stop firing after 3 rounds and assess the situation. He didnt even assess the situation after his first clip was empty! What did the prosecutor do in this case? Was the sobriety of the cops ever questioned? These guys were out on a celebration! The last night of their undercover operation, they weren't possibly all drunk? THAT never came up as remotely possible! The blue wall of silence is once again erected to hide these guilty officers, allow them 48 HOURS to corroborate their stories, to sober up and get right before they are asked the first question! Is this simply more and more vengeance and fallout from the OJ trial? Is this verdict an attempt to hold the young black male community mentally hostage? Yesterday on the radio, someone asked a brilliant question: "In two weeks will we still be talking about this?" In this age of soundbytes and media inflicted A.D.D. can we maintain the focus on this issue long enough to make it remain an issue? I for one certainly hope so. Let's discuss this.

Ok, meanwhile I cannot promise you that this will be my last
entry about happenings in a bathroom...
I can say with surety that this blog is NOT solely dedicated to toilet humor!

Newsflash: WOMEN ARE NOT THE CLEANEST CREATURES IN THE WORLD WHEN IT COMES TO THE BATHROOM!
Now women are perceived to be the more tidy, neat, and hygenic of the species, but I have scathing evidence to support the contrary: True story:

The other day at work, some folks were milling around a certain area looking generally hmmmm disgusted, and someone even said: "that's just nasty" or something Naturally curious (and looking for items to report) I said what happened....
...woe be unto me for asking!
Some woman took a crap in the bathroom...AND MISSED!!! wait, it gets better!
She managed to somehow step on the errantly dropped turd and track it out to the corridor OUTSIDE the bathroom where she wiped it off her shoe onto the carpet leaving behind a nice doo-doo stain.
The mismanaged turd lay somewhere next to the intended target toilet and some crap tracks were spotted on the way to the exit.

HOW could this be? Aren't women the cleanest? I mean they have pocket kleenex in their purses even in the summer! They harass their mates without pause about leaving the toilet seat up and wiping it down! What is going on here?

I'll tell you what happened... Women are DUMB when it comes to being clean!
At public bathrooms, in an attempt to use the facilities without touching the toilet seat, women employ a method called "the squat" whereby they suspend themselves over the toilet to do their wee-wees. A result of this hovering is "spray" it gets on the seat and sometimes an small amount may even trickle down the leg!
The offending sprayer may or may not wipe down the seat after spraying as it may be "nasty" to be wiping pee(even if it is their own) ALL women know about spray, so even a clean LOOKING toilet seat may be coated in a days worth of dry wiped pee residue. Hence the vicious cycle of squatting continues on and on.
NOW when it comes to number 2's, MOST women will not go in a public facility even if the doo doo is at the gate ringing the bell like a 4 alarm fire. This is of course to avoid embarrassment and maintain the myth that their shit don't stink. **Note to women: Bathroom stalls do not have see through doors, nobody knows who you are when you're shitting it up! So if they must break down and drop a load in a public restroom, they employ the "toilet paper throne" method which entails lining the seat with an obscene amount of toilet paper to ensure that NO contact is made with the filthy, pee-laden seat.
Now in THIS circumstance, this imbecile had a hot one on deck and in her vain attempt to remain clean while crapping, ened up projectile-pooping(most likely due to a build up of excessive explosive gas from not farting which is the result of YET ANOTHER popular myth perpetuated by women that they don't fart) thereby creating a situation far dirtier, nastier and unsanitary than the one she was originally trying to avoid. DUMB!
*Note to women, if you are so concerned about unsanitary conditions, grab some lysol or clorox wipes and keep them in your purse next to your pocket kleenex

So here I was walking on Nostrand near Sterling yesterday when I hear over yonder:
"man fuck a bitch, i'm bout my paper" (rinse and repeat) about 3x's.
So naturally I had to look towards the source from whence this fount of wisdom was emanating:
and NOT surprisingly, standing there are two of the ugliest, and broke pocket (brukk paket[yard style]) looking mofos that I ever did lay eyes on!
Isnt it interesting that most of the people who say stuff like "fuck a bitch im 'bout my paper" are usually

lonely(due in part to ugliness or to be politically correct; aesthetically challenged)
bitter(due in part to their loneliness and ugliness) AND
broke(due in part to whatever)

Generally speaking, they don't have the ability to attract or keep "a(so-called) bitch" so they spurn and scorn the true object of their desire. Let us discuss!

You will begin to notice that I like to use parentheses (alot) in my writing!

So at my office there are 5 stalls in the bathroom. Good number right?
Just enough so you can play odds and evens when deciding to occupy one for your numero dos(es).
If someone is in stall #1, your default action should be to go to #5 or at minimum #3 right?
NOT FOR A SHNIFFER!
A what you say? A SHNIFFER! SHIT+SNIFFER=SHNIFFER
The shniffer has no regard for the geneva convention rules of the bathroom.
He sidles up right next to your stall and plops himself down. Sometimes a shniffer is not even there to drop off anything. He sits there silently enjoying the wafting smells of last nights supper, your supper. How can you say this? How do you know they're not dropping off you ask? Because!! That's how! Because when all that is between you and the offender is a lousy 5/8 inch thick piece of metal separator, you tend to HEAR ALOT!
I hate the Shniffer and all that he stands(or rather sits) for! What do you think?

OK. Here goes nothing!
I find that I am constantly consulting with myself about the things and happenings around me. I consult with myself, because I have discovered that everyone is crazy! Well..maybe not everyone, but most of one. I need an outlet. Someone to share my angst, amusement, and random wanderings of the innerspace called my mind, as it applies to the world at large. I just want to dialogue with intelligent beings who can share their thoughts and contribute to the pool of truth which is drying up at our very feet.
